Acceptance of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Hainan Mengyi Information Technology Co., Ltd., the operator of oneiromancy.ai. By using the site, creating an account or submitting a dream, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for it.

The service

oneiromancy.ai provides dream-symbol reference material, a dream interpreter’s letter and related features. The service is for reflection and entertainment. It is not a medical, psychological, legal, financial or crisis service, and it does not provide professional advice.

What the site offers is reference material on dream imagery and an automatic tool for reflection. We do not provide rituals, blessings or spiritual services, we do not read fate, and we do not predict outcomes. The approach behind a reading comes from the dream-work tradition in psychology: attention to images, feelings and associations rather than to fixed equivalents. It is not therapy.

Some features are available without an account; others need one. The dictionary, and a quick reading once a day for a signed-in reader, are free. Memberships are paid. The price, and any tax, are shown before you pay. The sections below are the terms of those purchases.

Lifetime fair use

A lifetime membership is for your own personal, non-automated use. It is not for shared or bulk use, and it is not transferable. The daily allowance is two full readings, and unused allowance does not carry over. If use is automated, shared across people, or otherwise outside personal use, we may limit use to that daily allowance, or suspend the membership.

A lifetime membership is a one-time payment for ongoing membership access, subject to these terms and to the continued operation of the service. It is not a promise that the service will operate forever.

Invitations

Each signed-in reader has an invite link. If a new person opens your link and creates an account with an email address that has never had one here, you each receive a full reading. Each new account counts once, for the first link it came through.

We may refuse a reward if the new address is the same as the inviter's, or the same as someone already invited, once aliases are folded together. A Gmail address is read without dots or a plus tag, and googlemail.com is read as gmail.com. Any other address is read without a plus tag. A referrer can receive at most ten full readings from invitations in a calendar month (UTC). After that, a friend who joins still receives their full reading, and the referrer does not, until the next month. A full reading granted this way does not expire.

The merchant of record

Paid memberships are sold by Creem (creem.io), which is the merchant of record. Creem is the seller of the purchase. It takes payment, calculates and collects applicable VAT or sales tax, and issues the receipt. Your card details are handled by Creem. We do not receive or store them. We receive the order identifier, the email address on the order, the country and the amounts, and we use those to apply the purchase to your account.

The terms Creem publishes apply to the payment. These terms apply to your use of oneiromancy.ai and to the readings. Questions about a charge or a receipt start with the record Creem provides at checkout. Questions about a reading or the account come to us.

Refunds

This covers a monthly membership, a yearly membership and a lifetime membership. These are digital products, and they are available as soon as the payment is confirmed, so once the reading has been delivered or the membership has been opened, the payment is not refunded. That applies to a purchase you have not used, an accidental purchase, a reading you are unhappy with, a reading that does not fit the dream as you remember it, a cancellation, and unused subscription time or unused allowance. We do not give part-refunds or credits for a period already paid for. The exceptions stay as they are: an upgrade, described below, and the cases under “When we refund”.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the checkout asks you to agree that your purchase is delivered immediately and to confirm that you therefore lose the 14-day right to withdraw from it.

This does not limit any refund, cancellation or withdrawal right that cannot legally be excluded where you live; Creem, as merchant of record, handles such requests under its buyer terms.

A monthly membership can move to yearly at any time. The year starts that day, and the new period starts then. Creem refunds the unused part of the month to the same card. We do not calculate that refund. The amount is whatever Creem sends.

A monthly or yearly membership can move to lifetime. The unused part of the current period comes off the lifetime price at checkout. The subscription ends when that payment is completed, and that unused part is not also sent back to the card. A membership cannot move to a cheaper plan.

Readings are for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological or predictive advice, and a difference of interpretation is not a fault in the purchase.

When we refund

We refund a duplicate charge. We also refund a charge that is demonstrably unauthorized. Anything else, including a right that cannot legally be excluded where you live, goes to Creem as merchant of record under its buyer terms.

If a reading fails to generate, that reading is returned automatically to the account as a full reading. You do not need to write to us for the credit.

We refund the charge when a generation fails and the credit is not returned, or when the letter that was delivered is materially broken and we have not replaced it. Materially broken means the letter did not arrive, or arrived so incomplete or unreadable that it could not be read.

An approved refund is processed by Creem and returned to the original payment method. We do not send a refund to a different card or account. How long the amount then takes to appear depends on the bank or card issuer.

To ask for one, email hello@oneiromancy.ai with “Refund” in the subject line. Include the email address on the order, the date of the charge and the order number, and name the case: a duplicate charge, an unauthorized charge, a reading credit that was not returned after a failed generation, or a letter that was materially broken and not replaced.

Cancelling a membership

You may cancel a monthly or yearly membership at any time. On your account page, open Manage in the account navigation, then Subscription, and choose Cancel subscription. You may also write to hello@oneiromancy.ai from the account email.

Cancellation stops later charges. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for. Cancellation does not refund that period.

The same page has Payment method & receipts, which opens the Creem customer portal where the card on the subscription and the receipts are held.

A lifetime membership is a one-time payment for ongoing membership access, subject to these terms and to the continued operation of the service. It is not a promise that the service will operate forever. It does not renew, so there is no renewal to cancel, and once access is granted the payment is not refunded, including for allowance you have not used.

Nothing in these terms limits a refund, cancellation or withdrawal right that cannot legally be excluded where you live, including a right under the laws of the United Kingdom or the European Union. Where that law gives you a stronger right, that right applies.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be 18 or older to buy a membership, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. If you are under that age you may buy only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian. The service itself is not intended for children under 13; where local law sets a higher age for digital consent, that age applies.

You sign in with a six-digit code sent to your email address, or with Continue with Google. There is no password, so keep that mailbox secure and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or create risk for other users or the service.

Your dream content

You keep ownership of the dream text and other content you submit. By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, reproduce and display that content as needed to provide the service, maintain your account and improve the reading experience.

The letter written back to you is yours. You may keep it, print it and share it for your own personal, non-commercial use. This does not give you rights in the site’s library text, the editorial framework or the design, which stay with us.

You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive or infringing, or that you have no right to share, and do not submit another person's private information without permission. Dreams can include sensitive details; share only what you are comfortable having processed.

Automated and editorial processing

Readings are generated automatically by a language model, working within editorial rules we set: the shape of the letter, the length, what a reading may and may not claim. Before writing, it checks the images in your dream against our dream-symbol library: more than 500 entries drawn from a reference shelf of over 100 books on psychology, dream research, symbolism and cross-cultural dream interpretation. The letter starts from those entries, so the meanings it gives an image have a source behind them rather than being invented by the model. No person reads your dream in order to write the letter. A model is not a person and does not understand your life; it can be incomplete, generic or plainly wrong, and a reading that fits one dream may miss the next.

The dream text and your questionnaire answers are sent to the model provider so that the letter can be produced. We aim to keep readings within clear editorial boundaries, but we do not guarantee that a reading will be accurate, complete or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for how you use or interpret it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service. That includes attempting to access accounts or systems without authorisation; interfering with the site's operation; scraping, harvesting or bulk-copying content without permission; reverse engineering or circumventing limits; uploading malware; impersonating another person; using the service to harass, threaten or unlawfully discriminate; or using it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

We may investigate suspected misuse and may suspend access while we do so.

Intellectual property

The site's design, text, symbol library, editorial framework, name and branding belong to the operator or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial reflection. You may not reproduce, republish, sell, license or make derivative works from the site's content without permission, except for brief quotation with clear attribution and a link to the source page.

Third-party services and advertising

The site may include advertising served by Google or other partners and may link to third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies; we do not control their content or practices and are not responsible for them. If you interact with an advertisement or a third-party service, you do so at your own risk.

No professional advice

The service does not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial or crisis advice. A reading is not a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, a prediction, a legal opinion or a financial recommendation. If you need professional help, consult a qualified professional where you live.

If you are in crisis, or believe you or another person is in danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. The site is not monitored for emergencies.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, suspend or discontinue features and may perform maintenance. We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date shows the current version, and continued use after an update means the updated terms apply.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will meet your expectations, that readings will be accurate, or that the site will be free of errors, viruses or interruptions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any warranty or liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including consumer rights that apply where you live.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hainan Mengyi Information Technology Co., Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from claims, losses, liabilities and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these terms or of another person’s rights, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and may ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you violate these terms, if the law requires it, or if continuing would create risk for the site or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, limitation-of-liability and indemnity provisions, survive termination.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the People's Court of Lingshui Li Autonomous County, Hainan Province, China, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right that cannot be waived.

General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is removed or narrowed to the smallest extent needed, and the rest stays in force. These terms, together with the privacy policy at /privacy and the terms Creem publishes for the payment, are the whole agreement between us on this subject and replace anything said or written before it. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion is not a waiver of it.

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms as part of a transfer of the project or the business, and we will post a notice on the site when that happens. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else, because a membership is for the person who bought it.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@oneiromancy.ai with “Terms question” in the subject line. For a refund, use “Refund”, and see the Refunds section above. For privacy requests, use “Privacy request” instead. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis line rather than this site.
